You can choose how you want to sell your books. All of our plans include the ability to purchase 25 or more copies at wholesale pricing, where you purchase in bulk and handle all aspects of the sale, OR, let us handle fulfillment piece for you (you do not carry or handle inventory). You would share the link and manage sales and marketing, we take the order, the payment for the order, and send the order to the customer. YOU get a payment each month from us for your profit over and above the agreed upon wholesale price.
Example: Say the wholesale price is $12 per copy, and retail price is $25 per copy, you would make $13 per copy sold (subject to meeting the 25 copy minimum). So, for example, if you purchase the Basic Plan ($49) to design your book, you would have to sell 4 books to make your money back ($13 profit x 4 books = $52). For the Hybrid Plan ($279), you'd need to sell 22 books ($13 x 22 = $286) and for the Custom Plan ($499), you'd need to sell 39 copies ($13 x 30 = $507).

For fundraisers, keep in mind if we complete fulfillment for you, the positive is that you will still receive the revenue from the sales, but the potential downside is that each individual purchasing customer will only receive a receipt for their purchase from Creative Cookbooks. We are NOT a non-profit, so our receipt to them on your behalf will not qualify as tax deductible. If it's important for your organization to provide a tax-deductible receipt to purchasers, we encourage you to take pre-orders and have a fulfillment plan in place if you don't want to order large quantities of books to have on hand.

FAQ
For Families: We recommend no less than 15 and no more than 150 per book (about 400 pages, complete). If you have more than 150 recipes, there are options to print a cookbook series. If you need additional or filler recipes, you may select from a limitless library of recipes.
For Businesses: You can include anywhere from 15 to 150 per volume. They do not have to be proprietary to your business. We have options for you to select from a limitless library of recipes or simply choose a stock cookbook to brand to your business.
For Families: We recommend 1-3 photos per recipe. You can create a dedicated photo chapter if you have more. You can also include reproductions of cards, notes, quotes, sentiments, anecdotes, stories, memories, drawings, etc. as long as they aren’t copyright protected. Feel free to include captions as well.
For Businesses: We recommend 1 photo per recipe, and a few photos for your business bio section. If you do not have photos on hand, we can quote a professional photography session. If you would like photos of the prepared recipe, we can quote for our food stylist and photography.
For Families: Yes, we use a 3rd party fulfillment company and they are able to ship to numerous countries. Let us know what country so we can quote the appropriate pricing. Many times, the eBook format is a suitable, less expensive alternative.
For Businesses: Yes, we are able to drop ship to numerous countries, or to more than one address. Let us know the address(es) and quantity(ies) and we will be sure to include in your quote.
For Families: The standard production time is between 6 weeks and 2 months from the date we have all your files, but can change depending on the season. A good rule of thumb is to allow 3-6 months lead time. Please be aware, the delivery date depends in part on the time it takes for you to gather submissions at the beginning and to complete your final draft approval at the end. We do have rush options, just ask for a quote.
For Businesses: We are able to turn your order around as quickly as the design and your budget allow.
For Families: Each package automatically includes one hard copy. Choose from 5 ½ x 8 ½ digest size or 8 ½ x 11 letter size finished product. A private ordering link comes with your order and the price for your finished product depends on the number of pages in your finished product. Price averages $25 per copy, but can range anywhere from $15 to $40.
For Businesses: Your package includes one hard copy. We offer wholesale pricing for orders of 25 books or more. The price banding for additional quantities and for re-orders will be quoted upon completion of your project. A backlink to your book for purchase can be provided for you to place on your Ecommerce site. Our publisher will fulfill all orders (print and/or eBook).
You may include scanned copies of handwritten recipes in your book as photographs, and or transcribe them to include instead. You can even do both if you’d like. If you require transcription and or scan/upload services, just let us know an estimate of how many recipes so we may quote transcription services for you.
For Families: We do our best not to share or sell your proprietary recipes to an unauthorized party. Since we provide a link for you and your loved ones to use to place orders, we cannot control if that link is shared with others outside your intended audience. The risk of this is very small, but a risk nonetheless.
For Businesses: If you intend to monetize your cookbook, ask us about wholesale pricing.
We never file copyrights for your cookbook with U.S. Copyright office. Refer to our Legal Policies page for more information on copyright.

The finished product is the same quality you’d find in a retail bookstore. We prefer coil binding for the book to stay open to a recipe, but other binding options are available. We use standard, easy-to-read font styles, font choices are limited by our publishing house. The cover and interior are full color. We ask you to send us 2-3 cover photo choices as well as choosing a title for your cookbook. We will take those elements to design your cover. If you’d like to design your own, we can provide the publishing specs.

For Families: Anyone with the link to your cookbook may order either version in any quantity. eBooks availability may require a fee to convert your file.
For Businesses & Custom orders: We can provide a backlink to embed in your eCommerce store where customers can order either the hardcopy or eBook version “on demand”. Our publisher fulfills all orders. If you intend to monetize your cookbook, ask us about wholesale pricing.
Navigate to the Pricing page, choose a package – Basic, Hybrid or Custom. Fill out the contact information at checkout and we’ll prepare your account logins. An email will be sent to you with some Getting Started information, including a link for you to set up your initial consultation.
For Basic and Hybrid packages: You’ll be assigned log ins to the cloud-based software and to the secure client portal we call your digital Recipe Box. You may share a special log in to your software with anyone who plans to upload a file for inclusion in your cookbook. Instructions for getting started are included, and technical support is available. There will be milestones set to help you get your project complete, and once all reviews have been completed by us and you, it’s off to publication!
For Custom package: We will begin with a design consultation where we go over the details of your project. An email to recap the process will be sent, and we’ll get started. You’ll be assigned a log in to a secure client portal we call your digital Recipe Box where you can watch the timeline and track progress of your project. Because custom projects are uniquely individual, each project will look a little different. No worries, we’ll be there to hold your hand the entire way!
We love helping good causes reach their financial goals. Choose a package just like you ordinarily would, based on your individual needs. We are happy to donate 5 free copies to your non-profit. Please note, before you place your wholesale order, we will collect a copy of the determination letter the non-profit received from the IRS. If you can’t find the letter, simply request a new copy by calling 1-877-829-5500.
You will receive a link to your secure portal along with unique log in information. While only members of our company have access to your portal, you are welcome to share the log in information with whomever you choose. Therefore, more than one person is able to upload media and watch the progress of your project.
We are happy to accommodate for other languages, since the writing in a cookbook is fairly straightforward. Keep in mind, English is our first and only language, therefore, we cannot be responsible for grammatical errors or errors related to numerical equivalents. We ask that if you need a translation, you perform your own individual or professional editorial review. We are happy to include a quote for proper transcription and/or editorial services if desired.
Annually for as long as Creative Cookbooks is an operational business or upon creation or termination of any contract or agreement. Updates include up to 1 hour of labor. Upon completion of revisions, you are responsible for ordering updated book(s).

A draft copy of your cookbook is provided to you for approval prior to publication. Please review it carefully for any errors. We will provide a checklist to guide your review. Once you sign off on publication and your book is sent to the publisher, we are not able to accept returns of the finished product. In the event of physical damage to the finished product, we will work with our publisher on your behalf for a suitable solution. Any replacement of damaged product is at the sole discretion of the publisher, Creative Cookbooks does not have ability to authorize. Please note, since we provide updates for the life of our company, you can request changes to be reflected in the next print run, cost for subsequent book(s) is your responsibility.
The first draft you will receive is a draft of the table of contents. At this time, we encourage you to make any changes to the order of recipes or categories. The second draft you will receive is a draft of the entire book. At this time, minor changes in the ordering of recipes are allowed, but are not able to categorically or substantially rearrange the contents at that stage.
We specialize in cookbook publication, but are open to working with you on other publishing projects as well. Let us know your idea. We love thinking outside the box!
We understand there are choices when it comes to publishing your own recipe book. That is why we’ve enhanced our packages with features you won’t find anywhere else. First, if you decide creating it yourself is not for you, you may upgrade to the Hybrid or Custom plan at any time. We will credit your full purchase price toward the upgrade. In addition to that, our basic plan includes one hard copy of your book upon completion – a feature you won’t find on any other do-it-yourself site. A private ordering link is also included so your friends, family and followers orders can start rolling in once you’re finished.
That said, please know our software is very user friendly. So friendly in fact, we’ve found there’s no need to for any lengthy “how to” documentation. We will send you a Getting Started video, and walk you through everything on our orientation call. Outside of that, simply spend an hour playing with the tool. You can’t break it! The formatting is coded behind the scenes, so you can’t mess anything up. There are also some custom options built right in like the ability to create your own categories, and an instant table of contents and index based on your entry. Technical support is always available if you get stuck.
