How It Works

We make fundraising with custom cookbooks a breeze! Our process is broken down into 3 parts - Service, Fulfillment, and Product. We can be as hands-on or hands-off as you'd like. First and foremost, we understand the goal is for you to make money, so we have options where your organization has very little money out of pocket.

Service

The Basic Package gives you access to our easy to use software, a library of tutorials and unlimited phone support. If you can run a Google search or shop on Amazon, you can operate our software. Most of our clients choose this option. You'll enter recipes, photographs, ads and front matter copy. You'll choose from a library of design and format options to complete the project. We will do final editorial before sending it off to print and help you to design your custom cover.

The Hybrid Package also gives you access to our easy to use software, library of tutorials and unlimited phone support, but for this option, you do the easy parts, we do the harder parts. You'll enter recipes, photos, and the front matter copy; we will handle all the design, format, editorial, and ad design (should you choose to sell ads).

The Full Service Package is just like it sounds. We will handle every aspect of the project from entry through completion. All you will do is proofread at a couple intervals along the way.

You can add a White Label Recipe Discount to any package. Choose from our library of recipes with photos to fill your book. This eliminates the need for gathering recipes, photos and participation from others. All you have left to do is the front matter copy, ads and overall design.

We are always happy to give you test-drive access to our software to help you decide which Service package is most appropriate. Or, if you'd rather start with the least expensive version, you can upgrade at any time for the difference in price.

Fulfillment

There are generally 3 options for fulfillment.

Take pre-orders - this is where you would handle collecting book reservations and payment. This method is generally the most successful for fundraisers because you don't have to guess how many books to order, and you are able to issue a bonafide tax deductible receipt.

Order copies - this is where you would place an order for hard copies to have on hand, or place with volunteers who plan to sell them. We understand this can be a bit of a guessing game, which is why we do not require you to order any. The option is certainly available though based on your comfort level. Some organizations have a good idea how many they know they'll for sure sell.

POD - this stands for Print on Demand, and it is handled by us, for a small fee. The way print-on-demand basis works is your customers can order just one copy, or as many as they'd like with no maximum. We create an order link that you can share/embed on your website, in your social media, or via a QR code for customers to access the order site. We collect payment and shipping details, and fulfill the order. From order to door it’s an average of about 2 weeks. Periodically (typically quarterly) we send you a payment for your profits. We can Venmo, Paypal, or cut a paper check. We will also provide you with the contact information we've collected for each order taken. This can be furnished more frequently (you choose the interval). The potential disadvantage here is that we are unable to issue a tax deductible receipt on your behalf.

Product

Choose from hard copy options (coil bound, paperback or hard back) and/or publish as an eBook. Based on the number of recipes, photos and ads, we can recommend the most cost effective option for you.

You may choose to order hard copies to have on hand and sell, but we do not require you to order hard copies. If you decide to place an order, there is a 25 book minimum to enjoy wholesale pricing. Discounting on copies is based on order quantity.

We have two sizes of finished product to choose from:

Digest size is 5 ½ inch wide by 8 ½ inch tall.

Full size is 8 ½ inch wide by 11 inch tall (like a piece of paper).
